Diagnosis

This guide can be applied in the following scenario(s):

• When you are trying to transfer a certain type of content from one device to another and receive an error.
• When you are trying to transfer a certain type of content from one device to another but the option tile is disabled or greyed out, like this:

Both errors are commonly observed when the type of content you are trying to transfer to the Target device is not allowed by compatibility.

Prerequisites

• Having access to the device's Software.
• Having the Transfer feature added to your license.

 

The type of content that can be transferred when using the transfer feature varies based on the brand of the phone you are are trying to transfer from and to. The OS of the Source and Target phones also plays an important role in the transfer successfulness.
